Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Home Luxury Selection. These Terms & Conditions explain the general rules that apply when you browse our website, contact our team, request a consultation, or engage us for home renovation, design, remodeling, repair, or related home-living services. By using the website or proceeding with a service request, you acknowledge these terms. Project-specific agreements, proposals, estimates, or written scopes may contain additional requirements that apply to your individual project.
1. Service relationship. Home Luxury Selection provides residential renovation, remodeling, design coordination, repair, improvement, and related home-living services based on availability and the requirements of each property. The services shown on our website are general descriptions and may not be available in every location or for every property. The actual services we provide will depend on the agreed project scope, site conditions, applicable requirements, materials, scheduling considerations, and the professionals involved. A website inquiry or consultation does not by itself create a binding service contract. A project becomes formally authorized when the applicable written agreement or project documentation has been accepted by the parties.
2. Consultations & estimates. Information gathered during an initial conversation, phone call, online form, design discussion, or property assessment helps us understand your goals and prepare an appropriate proposal. Estimates are based on the information reasonably available at the time they are prepared and may change when measurements, site conditions, material selections, permit requirements, or other project details become clearer. An estimate should not be treated as a guaranteed final price unless the written agreement expressly identifies it as fixed. If additional conditions are discovered or you request services outside the original scope, we may provide an updated estimate or written change order before performing the additional work.
3. Project agreements & scope. Before work begins, the project scope should identify the principal services, selected materials or allowances, expected scheduling arrangements, pricing structure, and other important project details. You are responsible for reviewing the information provided and raising questions before approving the project. Drawings, specifications, measurements, finish selections, product choices, and other project decisions may affect both cost and timing. If you approve a particular selection or design direction, changes made later may require additional labor, replacement materials, restocking charges, or schedule adjustments where applicable.
4. Bookings & payments. Project booking and payment requirements are governed by the applicable written quote, proposal, invoice, or service agreement. A deposit or other initial payment may be required to reserve project time, order materials, arrange labor, or begin preparatory services. Remaining balances or milestone payments will be due according to the payment schedule communicated for your project. You agree to review invoices promptly and notify us if you believe a charge does not match the agreed scope. Any approved additional work may result in an updated balance. We aim to communicate pricing changes clearly before proceeding with client-requested additions or modifications.
5. Scheduling & access. Home Luxury Selection makes reasonable efforts to coordinate work according to the schedule discussed with you. Home projects can, however, be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, permit or inspection delays, supplier interruptions, discontinued products, transportation issues, concealed property conditions, or the availability of specialized professionals. When practical, we will communicate significant scheduling changes and work with you to establish a revised sequence. You must provide reasonable access to the property and designated work areas during agreed times. Access restrictions, building rules, unavailable utilities, or other limitations should be communicated before the scheduled work begins.
6. Your responsibilities. You are responsible for providing accurate information about the property and the requested project. Please identify known structural concerns, previous repairs, water damage, unusual electrical or plumbing conditions, hazardous materials, access restrictions, or other circumstances that could affect the work. Personal belongings should be removed or appropriately protected before work begins. Pets and household members should be kept away from active work areas when requested for safety reasons. You are also responsible for making timely decisions regarding materials, colors, fixtures, layouts, approvals, and other selections that require your input. Delays caused by unavailable decisions, access problems, inaccurate information, or client-requested changes may affect the project schedule.
7. Existing conditions & additional work. Renovation work often involves opening walls, floors, ceilings, cabinets, or other existing components. Conditions that could not reasonably be identified during an initial assessment may become visible only after work has started. Examples can include concealed moisture, deteriorated framing, outdated wiring, damaged plumbing, unsuitable substrates, pest-related deterioration, or other hidden conditions. When such conditions materially affect the planned work, we may pause the affected portion and discuss the available options with you. Additional investigation, repair, materials, labor, or professional services may require separate authorization and additional cost.
8. Materials & product selections. Materials, fixtures, appliances, finishes, and other products are subject to availability, supplier policies, lead times, and manufacturer specifications. If a selected item becomes unavailable, discontinued, delayed, or unsuitable for the project, we may discuss an alternative with you. A replacement may have a different price, appearance, specification, or delivery period. Product warranties are generally provided by the applicable manufacturer or supplier and may contain conditions separate from any workmanship coverage offered by Home Luxury Selection. You should retain relevant product documentation for future warranty questions or service requests.
9. Workmanship, completion & warranty. We seek to perform agreed services in a professional manner consistent with the applicable project scope. Any workmanship warranty offered by Home Luxury Selection will be described in the relevant project agreement and will be subject to its stated duration, exclusions, and procedures. Warranty coverage may not apply to ordinary wear, misuse, neglect, accidents, unauthorized alterations, improper maintenance, or damage caused by unrelated work. At or near project completion, you may be asked to review completed areas and identify reasonable punch-list items. We will make appropriate efforts to address qualifying workmanship concerns in accordance with the applicable agreement.
10. Safety & third parties. Active renovation areas can contain tools, equipment, dust, noise, temporary openings, construction materials, and other hazards. Please follow reasonable safety instructions and keep children, pets, guests, and unauthorized individuals away from restricted work areas. Certain projects may involve independent architects, engineers, designers, inspectors, permit authorities, suppliers, utility companies, or other third parties. Their services and responsibilities may be governed by separate agreements or requirements. We may coordinate with these parties when reasonably necessary to complete the requested project.
11. Website use & information. Our website is provided to help visitors learn about Home Luxury Selection and explore available services. Website descriptions, photographs, examples, project information, availability statements, and other content may change over time and may not represent the exact result possible for every property. You agree not to use the website for unlawful activity, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, submit intentionally misleading information, or reproduce protected content without permission. Website information should not replace a property-specific assessment or written project agreement.
12. Cancellations, interruptions & changes. Cancellation and project-pause terms may depend on the timing of your request, materials already ordered, labor reserved, services already completed, and the terms of your project agreement. If you need to change or pause a project, contact us as soon as possible so we can review the practical and financial consequences. Client-requested changes may affect both pricing and completion dates. We will make reasonable efforts to document material changes before additional work is performed.
13. Responsibility & unforeseen circumstances. We are not responsible for delays or impacts caused by circumstances that could not reasonably be controlled or prevented, including natural events, severe weather, government actions, utility interruptions, supplier failures, transportation disruptions, or concealed property conditions. Nothing in these terms is intended to remove or limit any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law. Project-specific agreements may contain additional provisions concerning responsibility, insurance, warranties, dispute resolution, or other matters.
14. Changes to these terms. Home Luxury Selection may revise these Terms & Conditions when our services, website practices, business procedures, or legal requirements change. Updated terms will be posted on the website with an appropriate revision date. The version applicable to a particular project may also depend on the written agreement accepted for that project. We encourage you to review these terms periodically so you remain familiar with the current website and service conditions.
15. Questions. If you have questions about these Terms & Conditions, your project documents, an estimate, scheduling arrangements, payment requirements, warranty coverage, or another aspect of our services, please contact Home Luxury Selection before taking action that could affect your project. We are happy to clarify the applicable information and help make sure the expectations for your project are understood.
